Reed Willis

Athletics Specialist

I grew up in Memphis and attended the University of Memphis, where I graduated with a degree in art education. I taught art in Memphis Shelby County Schools for 16 years while also coaching various sports including baseball, golf, and football. As the athletic director at Middle College High School, I was awarded Rookie Athletic Director of the year by the Shelby County Interscholastic Athletic Association and received the A. F. Bridges award for Athletic Director of the Year from the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association. In 2019, I earned a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Arkansas State University. Since November 2020, I have worked at the Memphis Shelby County Interscholastic Athletic Association as Athletic Specialist, coordinating football, basketball, girl’s soccer, baseball, and softball for the school district. I am also a member of Fellowship Memphis, where I have served as a preschool and elementary school teacher.
